About Abraham Folorunso (Abraham Algorithm), Software Engineer

Abraham Folorunso (Abraham Algorithm), software engineer

I'm a Software Engineer and a Top Rated Upwork freelancer. I build backend systems, data pipelines, and the cloud infrastructure behind them, taking products from architecture to production. I've also built web and mobile applications, and have worked across banking, telecom, AI, and data-intensive products.

I mostly work with Python, Go, and TypeScript, alongside AWS, Google Cloud, Docker, and Kubernetes. A big part of my work is web scraping and browser automation. I've spent years building crawlers, data extraction pipelines, and automation systems with Playwright, Selenium, and Scrapy. Lately, I've been working more with distributed systems and AI agents, and I enjoy figuring out how to keep systems reliable as they grow.

Outside of engineering, I spend time building developer communities. I currently co-organize the Cloud Native Community Group (CNCF) in Minna, and have previously served as a GDG on Campus Lead, AWS Cloud Club Captain, and Cloud Engineering Track Lead (EMEA) for Google Cloud Summer 2025. I’ve organized and spoken at developer events, mentored developers, and helped grow communities from the ground up.

When I'm not writing code or organizing events, I enjoy traveling and watching historical movies.
