GDG on Campus FUTMinna

Led the GDG on Campus FUTMinna chapter, growing the community from 300 to over 1,100 members through consistent technical events, meetups, hands-on workshops, and webinars.

Over two years, we organized 20+ major events, including two editions of Build with AI, the Build with Gemma: AI for Africa hackathon, and multiple Build with Gemini x MLH hackathons. These programs gave students practical opportunities to explore Google’s generative AI technologies, build real-world applications, and gain experience beyond the classroom, with participants also competing for and winning exciting prizes.

AWS Student Builder Group

Pioneered the AWS Student Builder Group at FUTMinna, growing the community to 600+ members and creating opportunities for students to build practical cloud engineering skills. Through the community, students gained access to AWS Cloud credits, certification vouchers, technical learning sessions, workshops, and other cloud-focused resources.

Led the end-to-end execution of the inaugural AWS Student Community Day Minna under the theme "The Builder's Blueprint." The event brought together 500+ attendees for a full day of technical sessions and workshops, ultimately earning me the Platinum badge—the highest tier of recognition in the AWS Student Builder Group Lead program.

Co-Organizer (2026 — Present)

Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF)

Co-organizing the CNCF Minna chapter to build local expertise in Kubernetes, container orchestration, and modern cloud-native architectures.

I facilitate technical discussions, workshops, and community sessions that help developers and engineers explore the broader CNCF ecosystem and apply cloud-native technologies in their work. This community leadership also complements my focus on cloud infrastructure and DevOps engineering.
